This is my photoblog. My philosophy is to not post photos until the year after they're taken, so what you're seeing is the best of what I shot last year. This helps me be more objective when choosing what to post. The sentimental feelings one has towards one's creations fades over time, so waiting a significant amount of time between taking a photo and looking at it again really helps me weed out the crap.

River Sand
Cloudy skies make for very soft lighting, which is good for portraits, but less good for landscapes. I think I did alright, considering.
Low Ceiling
It was cloudy and damp the whole weekend, but I liked how the clouds were low enough to hug the granite walls of Yosemite Valley.
Oh Deer
In April of 2011, I shot the wedding of two friends of mine. It was in Yosemite National Park, and I spotted this critter while wandering around the valley floor. The next seven photos are from that weekend.
